NIAGARA FALLS, NEW YORK: (October 19, 2026) – Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino is embarking on an exciting new project that will give sports fans the best seat in the house for every big game.
Officials from Seneca Resorts & Casinos announced that work is starting on a new $8.9 million Seneca Sports Lounge on the resort’s west concourse. The new space will create a high-energy, experiential destination where guests can gather to eat, drink and watch all the exciting action from across the sports world. It will include a premium bar with seating for up to 21 people, a sportsbook lounge with club lounge chairs and a walk-up bar, a sportsbook betting counter and betting kiosks, a 115-seat sit-down restaurant area, and a dynamic audio and visual presentation highlighted by a 98-foot long video wall and other video displays throughout.
“We are building on the energy and excitement that Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino is known for and making it even bigger and bolder,” said Seneca Resorts & Casinos President & CEO Kevin Nephew. “We all know what game-day energy feels like. Our new Seneca Sports Lounge will bring that energy every day, making it clear to guests that something exciting is happening in every corner of the resort.”
The new Seneca Sports Lounge will be located near the Bear’s Den Showroom, in the space formerly occupied by Blues Burger Bar and the 8 Clans gift shop. The design of the new space will feature many sports-themed elements, including memorabilia display cases, burned-in team logos on the dining table tops, sports-themed ceiling, column and seat coverings, and lacrosse-inspired design elements, paying homage to the Haudenosaunee’s role in introducing the Creator’s Game to the world. Work is targeted for completion in May 2027.

It will be a destination exploding with stadium-level excitement and camaraderie, delicious food, great drinks, and can’t-miss moments.”
Work on the new Seneca Sports Lounge is starting at the same time as Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino begins a transformational $47 million project to completely renovate a total of 594 rooms and suites across 22 floors in its 26-story, Four Diamond Award-winning hotel tower. The updated hotel rooms will be exquisitely appointed, creating beautiful spaces where guests can relax from a day of excitement, recharge for a high-energy experience, and fully envelop themselves in a cascade of comfort and the wonder of an escape from the ordinary. The hotel renovation will be completed in three-floor phases, with total completion expected in December 2027.
Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino isn’t the only Seneca Resorts & Casinos property undergoing a transformation. Earlier this year, Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino unveiled a $2.7 million renovation of the popular Seneca Cafe restaurant, and work on a $5.8 million upgrade to the Thunder Mountain Buffet restaurant is expected to be complete in November.
According to Nephew, other major projects are on the way.
