Seneca Buffalo Creek to Host Meet and Greet with Sabres Alumni Brian Gionta and Cody McCormick Before Game 4 Tuesday!

BUFFALO, NEW YORK: (May 8, 2026) – As the Buffalo Sabres continue to roll through the playoffs, fans can get ready for Game 4 of the team’s second round series by meeting two former players who proudly wore the Blue and Gold.

 

Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino will host a special Meet & Greet celebration with Sabres alumni Brian Gionta and Cody McCormick on Tuesday, May 12 from 5-6 p.m. before the team takes on the Canadiens in Montreal. The Meet and Greet will take place near the Tree of Peace sculpture on the gaming floor. The event is open to fans aged 21 and older.

Gionta, a native of Rochester, played three seasons in Buffalo and served as the team’s Captain throughout his tenure. He also represented the United States in two Olympics, serving as team captain in the 2018 games. McCormick played parts of five seasons with the Sabres as part of a 10-year professional career.
